We’ll Beat Any Quote

1. What we need from you

So that we are comparing like with like, we need the exact quote, in writing. An email, a PDF quote, a screenshot of a written quotation or a booking summary is fine. It must clearly show:

1. The name of the agent who gave it to you, and their ATOL licence number.
2. The total price, including all taxes, charges and any card or service fees.
3. The airline, flight numbers, and the exact dates of travel.
4. The cabin class and baggage allowance.
5. The number of passengers, and the type of each (adult, child, infant).
6. The date the quote was given, and how long it is valid for.

We cannot act on a price you have been told verbally, a price without the taxes and charges included, or a screenshot that does not show who issued it.

2. It must be the same flight

“The same flight” means the same airline, the same flight numbers, on the same dates, in the same cabin, with the same baggage allowance, for the same passengers.

We cannot match a quote against a different airline, a different routing, a different date, a lower baggage allowance, or a fare with different conditions attached, because those are not the same product.

3. Seats must still be available

Airline fares are released in limited buckets and sell out. We can only beat a price on a flight where seats remain available to us in the same fare class at the moment you contact us.

If the fare behind your quote has already sold out — including where the other agent is still showing it — we will tell you, and we will show you the closest alternative we can actually ticket.

4. Who the quote must come from

The quote must come from a UK travel agent holding a current ATOL licence, selling to you as a member of the public in pounds sterling.

We cannot match prices from: quotes that are not from an ATOL licensed agent; airline websites, aggregator or comparison sites, or any other unlicensed seller; prices in another currency; corporate, staff, loyalty, redemption, group or bulk negotiated rates; membership-only or cashback-adjusted prices; prices that have expired; or prices we reasonably believe to be an error.

5. How to claim

1. Call us on 0203 668 2943 or email sales@pateltravel.co.uk.
2. Send the written quote before you book with us, and before the other quote expires.
3. We check it against live availability while you are on the phone wherever we can.
4. We confirm the price we can do, in writing, before you pay anything.

What “beat” means: the total price we confirm to you will be lower than the total price on your quote, comparing like for like including all taxes, charges and fees. It is not a match of the same figure.

This applies to new bookings only. We cannot apply it after a booking has been made, and it cannot be combined with any other offer or discount unless we say so in writing.

6. Checking the quote

We may contact the agent who issued the quote to confirm it is genuine and still valid, and we may ask you for the original rather than a forwarded copy. We will not proceed on a quote we cannot verify.

We are not responsible for a price offered by another agent, for that price changing or being withdrawn, or for availability on their side. Our offer relates only to the price we confirm to you in writing.

7. General

All fares are subject to availability and to the airline’s own fare rules at the time of ticketing. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights, or your rights under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 where they apply.

This offer applies to new bookings made directly with Patel Travel, by telephone or in person, by customers resident in the United Kingdom.

We may change or withdraw this offer at any time. The version published on this page at the moment you contact us is the one that applies to your enquiry. We may decline a claim where we reasonably believe it is not genuine, has been manipulated, or results from an obvious pricing error.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
