When mum or dad is flying to India alone.
Wheelchair assistance, special meals, someone who actually talks your parent through the booking and stays on the case at both ends — not a self-serve form. This is one of the trips we’re proudest of getting right.

Assistance arranged properly, at both ends
For elderly parents and anyone travelling with additional needs — booked and followed up by a real person.
Wheelchair & mobility assistance
Arranged at departure and arrival, plus anywhere she’s connecting — not just noted and forgotten.
We call, not just email
Someone talks your parent through the booking directly, in Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu or English.
A direct contact at the airport
You get a real number to call if anything needs adjusting on the day, not a generic helpline.
Four steps, one point of contact
Tell us the situation
Who’s travelling, any assistance needs, and who to keep updated (you, if you’re not travelling with them).
We arrange the details
Wheelchair assistance, meal preferences, and anything else booked in alongside the flight.
We talk it through with your parent
By phone, in the language they’re most comfortable in.
We’re reachable during the trip
A direct number, not a call centre, if anything comes up before or during travel.
We didn’t build this business to sell fares. We built it to stay part of the community.
Patel Travel started as, and still is, a family business serving London’s Indian community — Gujarati, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu spoken in the office, not just on a translation app. We know the festival calendar, the wedding season, and the families who’ve booked with us for a decade or more.
Languages spoken
Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu & English — ask for someone in your language.
Festival-aware
We plan around Diwali, Navratri and wedding season, not just school holidays.
Word of mouth
Most of our clients are referred by family or friends we’ve already looked after.
Meet Mr. Patel
Patel Travel has always felt like family, not a booking engine. Mr. Patel is the face of that: the reminder that behind every reply is someone who understands the itinerary and the culture, and won’t rest until it’s sorted.
Booked with exactly this kind of care
“They arranged wheelchair assistance for my father flying alone to Delhi, and checked in with us the whole way.”
“My mother doesn’t fly confidently on her own — Patel Travel talked her through everything in Gujarati.”
Elderly & assisted travel — common questions
Can you arrange wheelchair assistance for the whole journey?
Yes — we arrange it at departure, on arrival, and at any connecting airport, and confirm it’s in place before the trip, not just requested.
What if my parent doesn’t speak English confidently?
Our team speaks Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu as well as English — we can talk the booking through in whichever language they’re most comfortable with.
Can you book this over the phone instead of online?
Yes, and for this kind of trip we’d recommend it. Call us directly and an agent will handle the whole booking with you on the line.
